ACT LIKE YOU LOVE ME
CHALLENGE
Promote the film Act Like You Love Me in order to raise African American consumer awareness about the DVD release date for Entertainment One.
STRATEGY
Created the Cleveland Black Cinema Showcase to develop a platform that authentically engaged African American consumers. Haz Matthews from 93.1 WZAK hosted the red carpet film screening. Fans were able to interact directly with the popular radio personality and other local celebrities. Developed press materials sparking a feature in the Cleveland Plain Dealer and coverage on various digital media outlets.
RESULTS
The campaign generated ~2 million media impressions and increased the film audience reach to over 25,000 new followers on Facebook and Twitter.
